Advancing Automotive Quality Inspection - Live with BMW Group In our recent live demonstration with the BMW Group, as part of our joint project with B.B.W. Group, we successfully showcased real-time defect detection capabilities that go beyond human vision. During the session, our system: - 3D-mapped complex automotive components with millimetre precision. - Identified microscopic scratches and surface deviations, undetectable to the naked eye. - Cross-verified findings with 2D vision models for surface defect detection. This demonstration highlighted how combining advanced 3D scanning with AI-driven computer vision can enable faster and more accurate inspection of incoming goods.
